For more than 50 years, Royce has been playing a mix of classic country blues, southern rock, western swing, rockabilly, and good old soul from the South. Based in Georgetown, he performs throughout Central Texas — sometimes solo, sometimes with a band — at dance halls and community venues.

He also plays regularly with Scooter Dubec & Sterling Country, a traditional Texas country dance hall band.
